El País takes the fun out of the chase

Today, El País buried this whopper, oh, in the subhead of their top story on the goddamn front page:

They were also kind enough to repeat it in the first sentence of the article:

I can’t attribute this one to anything other than laziness. The article is otherwise ably written, so the writer must be perfectly familiar with the Big Three credit rating agencies.

    • All three of them have silly names if you think about it. But the world is full of silly stuff. It’s still their job to check!
